HaptiCards is designed with your privacy first. The app runs fully offline with zero network activity, and never collects, transmits, or tracks any personal information or usage data.

1. Information We Collect

HaptiCards does not collect any personal information. No account or sign-in is required, and we never obtain your name, email, location, or contacts. We do not run any usage analytics.

2. Information Stored on Your Device

The following is stored only on your device and is never transmitted externally:

• App settings (display language, detection sensitivity, sound on/off, surprise message and its color, and so on)
• Cards you register for the act (standard card choices, hand-drawn cards, photo cards)
• Internal app state such as onboarding completion

This data is kept in standard device storage and used only to run the app. Deleting the app also removes this data from your device.

3. Access to Photos

The photo-card feature uses Apple's system photo picker (PHPickerViewController), which runs out of process. Only the single image you choose is passed to the app. HaptiCards does not request access to your entire photo library and does not show a photo permission dialog. The imported image is fit to card proportions and stored locally on your device.

4. Motion Sensors

The app uses device motion for the performance. On first launch, the system shows a motion permission dialog (NSMotionUsageDescription). Motion data is used only in real time to drive the act, and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted.

5. On-device AI (Foundation Models)

Prophecy lines are generated by Apple's on-device AI, "Foundation Models," built into iOS 26. Generation runs entirely on-device; neither the input (prompt) nor the output is ever sent to an external server.

6. Network & Third Parties

HaptiCards performs no network communication. It uses no backend server, no third-party SDKs, no analytics tools, and no ad networks, and there is no tracking whatsoever.

7. About This Website

This website (hapticards.komavideo.com) uses no cookies and performs no analytics or advertising tracking. The contact form simply opens your mail app pre-filled with what you typed; our servers never receive or store its contents.

8. Children's Privacy

The app is rated for all ages (4+). Because it collects no personal information, it is safe for children to use.

9. Changes to This Policy

This privacy policy may be revised as needed. For significant changes, we will notify you by updating this page.
